EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapy for children and adolescents who are struggling to recover from distressing events and the problems they have caused, like flashbacks, upsetting thoughts or images, depression or anxiety. Sometimes memories get stuck and EMDR is used to enable the brain to reprocess the memory so that it no longer causes distress. EMDR is a widely recognized treatment for many conditions, especially post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
